It is important not to apply the fertilizer near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches, and to refrain from applying if heavy rain is in the forecast.

Apply the product only to your lawn or garden, and any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street should be swept back onto your lawn or garden. The recommended application rate is one pound of nitrogen per 1,000 sq ft, but actual rates and timing may vary depending on weather, soil, and turf conditions.

Each 50-pound bag of LESCO 46-0-0 Fertilizer can cover approximately 23,000 sq ft at the application rate of one pound of nitrogen (equivalent to 2.17 pounds of fertilizer) per 1,000 sq ft.
